Hunter Apparel Solutions lifted the award for “Innovator Of The Year” at the 2016 Aer Lingus Viscount Awards. The awards ceremony and gala dinner, which took place at the prestigious London IoD Headquarters on 24th May, celebrate the best of indigenous businesses. The 80-year-old company designs, develops and manufactures professional apparel and personal protective equipment. In recent years the business has transformed beyond recognition through the use of technical product diversification and the development of proprietary software technology both in the specialist apparel items themselves and in the customer focused systems, which deliver the technology led value added services this unique business now provides. In 2015 Hunter launched a market leading and innovative after-care and service centre, utilising proprietary software technology in a hi-tech laundry environment.
Simon Hunter, CEO of Hunter Apparel Solutions said: “I think businesses do best when they focus on their core values. One of our core values is innovation. “Our proprietary technology platforms allow us to service the professional clothing market in a unique innovative and value added manner. Gaining this external recognition in Pall Mall is a fabulous recognition of who we are as a company.” Business Development Manager of Aer Lingus in Northern Ireland, Andrea Hunter, said: “We are proud to continue to reward and support those organisations that represent the absolute best in their respective fields. “This was a true celebration of business excellence and on behalf of Aer Lingus I would like to congratulate Hunter Apparel Solutions for their tremendous business successes.”
