Hunter have developed a raft of new products in our NI R&D centre during the COVID period.
Recently we have been developing and trialing reusable protective products for a variety of users. Most recently we wanted to develop some product for the dental sector who face unique issues working with the new constraints that Covid has created.
Corry Dental Care based in mid-Ulster agreed to help Hunter by trailing and feeding back on these developments. Hunter created ePTFE protective dental gowns and patient blankets. These products have been developed by our highly skilled R&D team who have worked tirelessly on various different solutions for new sectors that face particular issues with Covid 19 and are expanding their knowledge and skill base all the time. Hunter have been recruiting vigorously increasing staff by over 10% in the last month as well as investing in new machinery to allow to prototype and develop product more rapidly.
Principal Dentist Sean Corry who was a lead trialist for the new products said;
“Thanks to you and your team for your recent solutions for our PPE requirements at Corry Dental Care.
The reusable gowns and patient drapes are working a treat and are very practical and easily laundered.
They are very suitable for use in dental practice and a very cost-effective solution for cross infection control in the wake of the COVID 19 pandemic.”
