William Francis Graham Hunter J.P. ( Graham) was proud to receive, an Officer of the British Empire Award (O.B.E) presented for his work over 5 decades at Hunter Apparel Solutions Limited and for his charitable works throughout the local community in the recent H.M. Queen Elizabeth II Birthday honours list. Graham is the father of Simon, the current C.E.O. of Hunter who received an M.B.E. for Services to Business and the Economy in 2019.
Whilst Graham has been retired from Hunter for 12 years he is still an interested and active shareholder in Hunter and continues to this day to make other investments in the wider sector. Graham said,
“it has been a huge thrill to be acknowledged in this way by the H.M. Queen Elizabeth II for my work at Hunter and in the wider local community”
Simon Hunter, C.E.O. of Hunter said,
“the family is extremely proud of our father who provided a platform for the next generation of the family including myself, my brother Jeff and my wife Roisin. It is wonderful for him to receive this award in the month in which the company will celebrate its 85th Anniversary in business.”
